Rob Halford editará un disco navideño en clave heavy metal titulado Rob Halford With Family & Friends: Celestial. Saldrá el 18 de octubre a través de Legacy Recordings. Para este proyecto especial el vocalista se ha reunido con familiares y amigos. Halford ya ha presentado el primer single: Donner And Blitzen. En el vídeo que ha adelantado se puede ver a Nigel Halford, hermano de Rob, tocando la batería. Nigel es miembro de la banda Voodoo Sioux.
El álbum incluirá interpretaciones de canciones tradicionales en clave heavy metal. Temas como Away In A Manger, The First Noe, Good King Wenceslas… Celestial también contiene cuatro temas nuevos compuestos especialmente para esta ocasión.
Será el segundo disco navideño de Rob Halford. El primero, Halford III – Winter Songs, salió a la venta en 2009.
