Avantasia lanzará a modo de anticipo a su próximo disco, Ghostlights, el single Mystery Of A Blood Red Rose. Estará disponible de forma digital en iTunes y otras plataformas a partir del 11 de diciembre. Se trata de un tema en el que canta el propio Tobias Sammet, aunque originalmente estaba enfocado a la voz de Meat Loaf. Las guitarras principales son de Sascha Paeth.
“’Mystery Of A Blood Red Rose’ es una canción que originalmente escribí con Meat Loaf en mente, pero por alguna razón la colaboración no sucedió, así que me encargué yo mismo de la canción. Solo los coros me llevaron más de 40 horas tanto para hacer los arreglos como las grabaciones. ¡Para un tema de cuatro minutos! Esto más o menos lo dice todo”, detalla Tobias Sammet.
