Tal como prometió el día de su cumpleaños, el vocalista de Judas Priest Rob Halford ha desvelado una sorpresa. El 18 de octubre editará un disco navideño en clave heavy metal titulado Rob Halford With Family & Friends: Celestial. Saldrá a través de Legacy Recordings. Para este proyecto especial el vocalista se ha reunido con familiares y amigos.
Incluirá interpretaciones de canciones tradicionales en clave heavy metal. Temas como Away In A Manger, The First Noe, Good King Wenceslas… El álbum Celestial también contiene cuatro temas nuevos compuestos especialmente para esta ocasión. Halford ya ha presentado el primer single: Donner And Blitzen.
Será el segundo disco navideño de Rob Halford. El primero, Halford III – Winter Songs, salió a la venta en 2009.
