Los finlandeses Sonata Arctica realizarán su primera gira acústica en Europa en los primeros meses de 2019. Denominada ‘Acoustic Adventures’, hará escala en Finlandia, Noruega, Suecia, Alemania, Holanda, Reino Unido, Francia, Italia, Suiza y República Checa. Los teloneros serán Witherfall.
La banda encabezada por Tony Kakko también es noticia porque se han metido en el estudio de cara a grabar su décimo disco, previsto para 2019 a través de Nuclear Blast. “Hemos estado encerrados en el estudio desde finales de verano trabajando en nuestro próximo disco, y decidimos que necesitábamos tomarnos un break y salir a tocar algunos conciertos. En verano de 2016 hicimos una gira acústica en Finlandia que fue muy divertida tanto para nosotros como para nuestros fans”, destaca el teclista Henrik «Henkka» Klingenberg.
