Judas Priest celebrará su medio siglo de historia con una monumental caja que cuenta con 42 CDs: ’50 Heavy Metal Years Of Music’. Esta ‘box set’ en edición limitada saldrá a la venta el 15 de octubre de 2021 a través de Sony Music y contará, entre otras cosas, con la friolera de 42 CDs.
La caja contendrá todos los discos de estudio y en directo oficiales publicados por la banda y 13 CDs inéditos basados en grabaciones en directo de Judas Priest. Restaurado y mezclado por Tom Allom en La Cucina W8 y masterizado por Alex Wharton en los Abbey Road Studios. También se podrán adquirir ediciones ‘Reflections’ disponibles en formato CD y 2 LPs.

La caja está diseñada por Mark Wilkinson e incluye fotos de Ross Halfin firmadas por Rob Halford, Glenn Tipton, Ian Hill, Richie Faulkner y Scott Travis. También cuenta con una cuchilla de ‘British Steel’ numerada, una réplica del programa de gira de ‘British Steel’ y dos réplicas de pósteres de gira de ‘British Steel 1980 German Tour’ y ‘Defenders Of The Faith 1984 European Tour’.
