Metallica actuó anoche en el Chase Center de San Francisco para conmemorar su 40 aniversario, inmersos en un fin de semana lleno de celebraciones para la banda. Mañana volverán al mismo a escenario a ofrecer un segundo concierto. Los dos shows se van a poder ver en todo el mundo a través de las retransmisiones en directo realizadas por Amazon Music, el canal de Twitch de Amazon Music y Prime Video.
El repertorio de anoche realizó un amplio recorrido por la discografía de la banda, representando todos sus discos de estudio: Kill ‘Em All (Hit The Lights), Ride The Lightning (Creeping Death, Trapped Under Ice), Master Of Puppets (Welcome Home (Sanitarium), Orion), …And Justice For All (The Shortest Straw, One), Metallica (Sad But True, Nothing Else Matters), Load (King Nothing), Reload (Fixxxer por primera vez en directo), S&M (No Leaf Clover), St. Anger (Frantic), Death Magnetic (The Day That Never Comes) y Hardwired… To Self-Destruct (Spit Out The Bone). También incluyeron la versión de Breadfan de Budgie.
