La legendaria vocalista, actriz y compositora Dolly Parton, especialmente famosa en el mundo de la música country, publicará su primer disco de rock en otoño. Se titulará Rockstar y para realizarlo se ha rodeado de grandes iconos de la música. Este álbum saldrá a la venta el 17 de noviembre a través de Butterfly Records. Estará disponible en edición de 4 LPs, doble CD y formatos digitales y de streaming, y constará de un total de 30 canciones: 9 originales y 21 clásicos del rock.
Richie Sambora, Sting, Steve Perry, Ann Wilson, Howard Leese, John Fogerty, Kid Rock, Steven Tyler, Warren Haynes, Stevie Nicks, Peter Frampton, Joan Jett, Elton John, Simon Le Bon, Pat Benatar, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Ronnie Van Zant, Gary Rossington (colaboración póstuma), Artimus Pyle… son algunos de los músicos que han colaborado en el disco de Dolly Parton. En el tema Bygones participan Rob Halford de Judas Priest, y Nikki Sixx y John 5 de Mötley Crüe.
