Ayer llegó el turno para Metallica en la última jornada del festival americano Power Trip, que se ha celebrado en Indio (California). Compartieron cartel con Tool y realizaron un repertorio de 16 canciones, incluyendo dos de su último disco; 72 Seasons.
Power Trip ha sido un festival destinado a marcar una época reuniendo a varios de los nombres más selectos del hard rock y el heavy metal. En su escenario han actuado Guns N’ Roses, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Judas Priest, Metallica y Tool. En un principio estaba anunciada la presencia de Ozzy Osbourne, pero finalmente su actuación fue cancelada dando paso a la entrada de Judas Priest.
