La banda alemana Van Canto, conocidos por sus interpretaciones a capela, publicará su octavo disco, To The Power Of Eight, el próximo 4 de junio a través de Napalm Records. Tendrá ocho canciones propias y cuatro versiones. En este álbum los germanos han contado de nuevo con el vocalista Philip Dennis «Sly» Schunke, quien puso su voz en los seis primeros discos del grupo. Ahora Sly se ha convertido en el tercer cantante junto con Inga Scharf y Hagen Hirschmann.
Las versiones que han incluido en este disco son Raise Your Horns de Amon Amarth, Run To The Hills de Iron Maiden, Thunderstruck de AC/DC y I Want It All de Queen. Recientemente Van Canto ha publicado un vídeo con su versión de Amon Amarth.
