Wacken Open Air 2020 ha prometido anunciar más de 80 bandas antes de Navidad. Su última tanda ha consistido en 13 incorporaciones: Grave Digger realizando un show de 40 aniversario, Devin Townsend, Fields Of The Nephilim, Unleash The Archers, Attic, Avatarium, Bokassa, Michael Monroe, Nytt Land, Suicidal Angels, The Other, Visions Of Atlantis y Wormrot.
El festival alemán, que ya ha vendido todas sus entradas, cuenta con un cartel liderado por Amon Amarth, Judas Priest, Slipknot y Mercyful Fate.
